Trail marking: Very good Rating: 3.0 stars Sections covered: All 4       from: Burlington ON Towns along the trail: Cambridge (pop 100,000), Paris (pop 8,000) Not super pleasant going by the Cambridge Biosolid waste plant... bit of a stinkaroo for a few km there, and the trail closer to Paris is more gravel than hard packed crushed which made it more difficult (it was also the last leg of the ride so I was more tired). An enjoyable and popular bicycle ride that takes you along the east bank of the river for 18 km. Compacted gravel is well-maintained, and gentle slope makes it manageable for all strength levels. So if you're heading from Cambridge to Paris, you just break off from the trail when you hit Paris and take that road into town. Additional comments: Paris is a lovely little town and well worth a visit. With a length of 19 km the seasoned cyclist should be able to ride from one end to the other in an hour to hour and a half, have a refreshment in either Paris or Cambridge, and cycle back for lunch or dinner.
