National Science Foundation awards $13 million for research efforts in cyber-physical systems

The National Science Foundation (NSF) has announced three five-year "Frontier" awards to advance cyber-physical systems (CPS). The new NSF-funded projects, which will receive financial support totaling $13 million, will develop new CPS technologies to overcome challenges in manufacturing environments, autonomous vehicles, and noise pollution in cities.
