The PICASSO Policy Expert Group chaired by Maarten Botterman (GNKS) and Dave Farber (Carnegie Mellon University) just released a Policy Brief on Data Protection and Privacy and its interrelation with EU-US collaboration on ICT development, specifically related to developments in 5G Networks; Big Data and Cyber Physical Systems (including IoT). In view of the current state and expected evolution of the Internet, it will be important for ICT specialists and policy makers alike to address the issues highlighted in the report.
